Jeanne Splingaerd était de la seconde génération en succession de Paul Splingaerd qui était donc son grand-père, qu'elle n'a pas connu. Pas plus que Catherine d'ailleurs, morte l'année où elle est née.
Dernier enfant de la famille, elle est née à Tientsin en 1918, l'époque où son père était comptable à la CTET. Elle a gardé de son enfance le petit nom de FiFi.
Mariée à Tientsin en 1938 avec Rodolpho Latartara, elle est revenue en Italie à Monza (Italie) où elle est sans doute décédée.
